Have a parent in prison
Parental incarceration increases the risk of children living in poverty or experiencing household instability. CPNYC works to fill the void of a missing parent by helping the children lead healthy and productive lives.

We are the FIRST and ONLY after school program and summer day camp in NYC that seamlessly provides access to therapeutic empowerment services and youth development all under one roof.
After-School programming & Summer day Camp
We provide children a safe place where they can learn, play, and develop the tools they need to be bright young leaders.
Therapeutic Empowerment
We provide on-site help 5 days a week by a team of psychiatrists, social workers, and creative arts therapists.

Project D.R.E.A.M. (Developing Responsible, Excellent, and Awesome Minds) provides one-to-one mentoring to children of incarcerated parents.
Family Engagement
In order to fully meet the needs of the children we serve, our staff engages families across the spectrum of CPNYC services.
