Executive Board
Board members are the fiduciaries who steer the organization towards a sustainable future by adopting sound, ethical, and legal governance and financial management policies, as well as making sure the nonprofit has adequate resources to advance its mission. A qualified applicant to join the CPNYC Board of Directors must exhibit:
a passion for senior leadership
an innovative mindset
deep investment in furthering CPNYC’s mission
dedication to introducing new partnerships to the CPNYC community
Potential candidates must have accumulated a wealth of leadership and governance experience through an accounting, finance, fundraising, human resources, organizational development, program development, or real estate background.
The Commitment
A three-year term
Attend quarterly Board meetings
Spearhead one fundraising event per year
Give or get a minimum of $3,000 annually to advance CPNYC’s mission
*A Give-Or-Get goal refers to a responsibility to either raise yourself, or bring others (friends, family, coworkers, team members, etc.) to contribute $5,000 to CPNYC by year end.
