Emerging Leaders Council (ELC)
The Emerging Leaders Council (ELC) is a leadership committee that consists of young professionals passionate about CPNYC and its mission to embrace and empower children of incarcerated parents. ELC members play a critical role in helping CPNYC achieve its fundraising goals, connect with potential partners, and amplify its work. As a leadership committee, the ELC expands and enhances CPNYC's network and resources. Individuals interested in joining the YPC must first submit an application, and potential candidates complete a brief onboarding process before officially joining the ELC. Membership requires leadership, dependability, and a firm commitment to CPNYC's mission. Strong candidates excel in their ability to communicate, multitask, and collaborate with others to plan events that elevate CPNYC’s work.
